Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese descent and lived during the war in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has strong roots in the South of America. Olivia was 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. She is now raised by her mother and stepfather. He is a United States Air Force soldier. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and lived in a variety of areas, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan. In that period, she was involved in many local productions of theater and eventually became an Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia was a model who been living with her parents in Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor and continued working towards this goal when the family moved back to America. Through a string of small roles, Olivia found success after she was cast as Mily Acua in the Hawaii filming of the TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". It is her favorite pastime as she has practiced it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. Her mother remarried at the age of two years old, and was an Air Force officer. They have relocated numerous times. She was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. The university she attended was at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalist with minors in Japanese and drama art.
